James (Jim) Lloyd provides business valuation, economic damages analysis,
forensic investigation, and related litigation consulting services
to a wide variety of business organizations and their attorneys. Mr.
Lloyd has extensive experience in connection with merger and acquisition
transactions, commercial damages litigation, divorce litigation,
business succession planning and structuring joint ventures. He also
has significant experience with a wide variety of industries including:
construction, healthcare, legal services, manufacturing, real estate,
transportation, and wholesale distribution.
Mr. Lloyd is a 1983 graduate of the University of Tennessee with
a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. In addition
to being a Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Lloyd has also earned
the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential from the
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Accredited
Senior Appraiser (ASA) credential (Business Valuation discipline)
from the American Society of Appraisers, the Certified Business
Appraiser (CBA) credential from the Institute of
Business Appraisers and the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential
from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Mr. Lloyd has
been recognized as an expert and has testified as such in connection
with business valuation, economic damages and fraud related matters.
Mr. Lloyd is a frequent speaker on business valuation, fraud,
and litigation consulting topics and is an active member of the
Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants where he chairs
the Business Valuation, Forensic and Litigation Services Committee.
He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants, American Society of Appraisers, Institute of Business
Appraisers, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, American
College of Healthcare Executives, Healthcare Financial Management
Association, and Knoxville Estate Planning Council.
